Machine Arts Kiosk
A traditional kiosk sells postcards, trinkets and small curiosities. The Machine Arts Kiosk made them on site: drawings, prints and collectible objects generated by algorithms and produced by mechanical systems. Through live performances, machine-made objects and public interventions, the show explored authorship, collaboration and creative agency in digital fabrication.
The exhibition featured Armin Aschenbrenner, Philipp Lehmann, Sofie Mart and Enrico Viola. It ran from 17 to 27 September and included a vernissage, three artist talks, and a finissage with an outdoor machine drawing performance by Johannes Ritzer.
